New York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu (calf) is set to play in rehab games at Triple-A on Tuesday and Wednesday and could be cleared to return to the majors over the weekend. The 36-year-old has been sidelined due to a calf strain but has also been dealing with a hip injury.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Monday afternoon that it’s possible LeMahieu could return from the IL during the club’s upcoming West Coast trip. The Yankees face the Athletics in Sacramento over this weekend before traveling to Seattle for a series with the Mariners.
