The Ranch at Coulter Creek fire sparked near a Carbondale subdivision Sunday morning, north of Panorama Drive, and prompted mandatory evacuations, fire officials said.

Garfield County authorities have issued an evacuation order for residents in an area near of Carbondale for another wildfire burning in western Colorado.

CARBONDALE, Colo. (KKCO) - A fire sparked in Garfield County, near Carbondale, Colorado. The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office issued Evacuation orders for residences in the Panorama Subdivision areas East of County Road 100 to Upper Cattle Road, and Coulter Creek Ranch. An evacuation center is located at Roaring Fork High School.
