Eric Slate is believed to have been beaten to death by a kangaroo at his brother's petting zoo in South Carolina.

Eric, 52, died sometime between 8:15 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday in an enclosure occupied by Jack, a 4-year-old red kangaroo.
