The New York Knicks traded five first-round picks to acquire Mikal Bridges last summer. The deal has paid off with two game-ending defensive plays from Bridges to give the Knicks a shocking 2-0 series lead over the Boston Celtics.

Another problem in both games is that the Celtics lost on the last possession. In Game 1, Jaylen Brown had the ball stolen from Mikal Bridges in the game's final play. In Game 2, Jayson Tatum was triple-teamed, which led to Bridges stealing his pass attempt, putting Boston down 2-0 going back to New York.

Boston was an abysmal 10-of-40 from three-point range as a team, while Tatum went 5-of-19 from the field and 1-of-5 from deep. Jaylen Brown had six turnovers to one assist, while a typically dominant defender in Jrue Holiday committed the late foul on Brunson.
