The Detroit Tigers hit four home runs and Tarik Skubal outdueled fellow ace Zack Wheeler in a 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. The Tigers (65-47) and Phillies (62-48) have split the first two games of the series and will play the rubber match in a nationally televised game on Sunday night.

Tarik Skubal won his first game since June and Javier Baez homered, doubled and knocked in four runs as the Tigers beat the Phillies 7-5.

Tarik Skubal struck out 10 in seven innings and Detroit's offense supported him with four homers as the Tigers topped host Philadelphia 7-5 in their interleague matchup Saturday night.

Former Tiger Nick Castellanos had a solid performance, picking up two hits while scoring twice for the Phillies. Wenceel Perez was the long Tiger to register two hits, also scoring a couple of runs while driving in another thanks to a home run in the eighth inning.
