Trump's Liberation Day tariffs saw his approval ratings plummet. But polls show that hispopularity is creeping back up.

A recent Associated Press-NORC poll found that just 41% approved of how Trump was handling his job as president while 57% disapproved. According to The New York Times’ daily approval rating tracker, Trump’s approval rating average is 44% as of Tuesday while his disapproval rating is 52%.

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Trump's job approval rating was averaging 45% since he took office in his second term. His first term's overall average was a 41% approval rating. At any given time during both terms thus far, his lowest to highest approval ratings have ranged between 34%-49%.
