Pope Leo XIV is enjoying a busy weekend with the Jubilee of Youth as the Catholic Church celebrates its Jubilee year. "For me, it is a privilege, a blessing," the pontiff said ahead of the event in Rome on Saturday.

"There is a burning question in our hearts, a need for truth that we cannot ignore, which leads us to ask ourselves: what is true happiness?"

Young people from nearly 150 countries celebrated Mass on Sunday with Pope Leo XIV at the end of the Catholic Church's Jubilee of Youth in Italy. The Vatican said more than a million youth took part in the huge event in a vast open space at Rome's University of Tor Vergata.
