Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone on Wednesday with Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to convey his solidarity after India hit Pakistan and Pakistani Kashmir with missiles, the Turkish presidency said.

In Islamabad, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan met with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to express Turkey’s support, describing India’s retaliatory action as an “unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty”. The Pakistani foreign ministry stated on X that both sides “discussed regional security concerns in depth” and pledged close coordination.

Turkish President Erdogan expressed solidarity with Pakistan amid rising tensions with India following Operation Sindoor, urged restraint, supported Islamabad's investigation call, and offered diplomatic help to prevent further escalation.
