Isiah Kiner-Falefa's fielder's choice scored Jack Suwinski with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Pittsburgh Pirates rallied to beat the San Francisco Giants 5-4 on Monday night.

P ITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates fell behind early to the San Francisco Giants, but made a late comeback and won 5-4 on a walk-off in the series opener at PNC Park. It is back-to-back wins for the Pirates, who won 9-5 in the series finale over the Colorado Rockies on Aug. 3, after losing 17-16 on Aug. 1 and 8-5 on Aug. 2.

Not only did Jack Suwinski bring the Pirates within one run on his homer, but he manufactured the game-winning run with his aggressive base running.

The Pirates earned a walk-off win over the Giants. While there was little doubt that Pittsburgh's Jack Suwinski was safe on the final play, San Francisco challenged the call. In response, Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" was played at PNC Park during the review. Nice touch. pic.twitter.com/N647pVyQTx

The San Francisco Giants head to Pennsylvania today to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in a three-game series.
