Tom Cruise is banking on Cannes premiere to revive the box office of 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' after previous film disappoints.

The Cannes Film Festival kicked off its 78th edition with the Opening Ceremony and the world premiere of Amélie Bonnin’s debut feature, Partir Un Jour (Leave One Day), led by Juliette Armanet, Bastien Bouillon, and François Rollin.

The Lowdown will premiere on Tuesday, September 23, at 9pm ET/PT on FX with two episodes. New episodes from the eight-episode season will air each Tuesday in the same time slot. Each episode will stream on Hulu the day after it airs on FX.

Beta Cinema has closed several deals for Fatih Akin’s “Amrum,” ahead of its world premiere in the Cannes Premiere section of Cannes Film Festival.

Hulu’s Chad Powers, starring Glen Powell, will premiere with two episodes on September 30, with new episodes to be released on Tuesdays thereafter. The news was revealed at the streamer’s upfront presentation in New York City today.
