Grok answered users’ queries on completely unrelated matters with responses about South African race relations

Some X users on Wednesday asked Grok – the AI chatbot available through Elon Musk’s social media platform – questions about simple topics like baseball players or videos of fish being flushed down toilets.

Elon Musk's AI chatbot, Grok, has gone absolutely bonkers and is flooding X-formerly-Twitter with bizarre posts about "white genocide" in response to completely unrelated tweets. The issue was first flagged online on X and Bluesky by the independent journalist Matt Binder and first reported by Gizmodo.
