Two suspects have been arrested on murder and torture charges after an 8-year-old girl was found dead in a hotel bathtub at La Quinta Inn in Bakersfield.

Marissa Espinoza, 33, was last seen on July 22 following her release from Lerdo Jail. Her parents say she has battled anxiety, PTSD, and depression since her late teens.

A neighborhood dispute over loud music escalated to a fatal shooting early Sunday morning, leaving one man dead. Police are investigating the incident on Rhone Drive.
